computational neurophysiology laboratory

The Neurological Institute of New York || Columbia University

The Computational Neurophysiology Laboratory focuses on developing the foundation for translational research in epilepsy care through the study of oscillatory phenomena in brain electrophysiology. Through collaborations with investigators in the related fields of psychiatry and neuroscience, we are exploring issues related to both clinical and basic science questions. Our areas of focus include seizure generation, localization of the epileptogenic zone, and seizure prediction, functional mapping, cortical information encoding, and multisensory integration.
